Horace

Here is an attempt at a different style, illustrating a character that has been lurking in my sketchbooks for years now. Say hello to Horace.
I started writing a short story about Horace, with a view to illustrating it as well. Here is the first illustration, I the others will probable be in different styles, we’ll see.
Below is a step by step on how I created it. I’ll admit, it is a pretty backward way of making an image, but I knew what it looked like because I wrote it beforehand!
